Visit the capital of the Netherlands

Amsterdam, or as people from Amsterdam call the city: Mokum, the bustling capital of the Netherlands. A city full of historic buildings and beautiful museums. It is known for its historical heritage, extensive canal network and narrow gable houses. In the Museum Quarter you will find famous museums such as the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum which is known for the famous painting ‘De Nachtwacht’ ( The Night Watch). A must-do is a visit to the Vondelpark. This elongated vibrant city park is located in the Amsterdam – South district; here you can relax in the summer and stroll around in the winter, enjoy a coffee or a beer. The city also has plenty to offer in terms of shopping. The Kalverstraat is well-known, but the boutiques in the ‘9 Straatjes’ (9 Streets), in the Jordaan district, are also worth a visit.
